The updates also bring with it a series of changes to Crusader Kings 3 that will increase the game's mod functionality.

In a post from Paradox Interactive, the developers have confirmed that the upcoming 1.3.X patch will allow mods for same-sex concubines to work on the game again, while the next patch, 1.4, will allow mods for same-sex marriage to return to the game. RELATED: Crusader Kings 3 Will Let Players Settle Disputes With Duels Soon The developers went to great lengths to explain that they were doing so because the mods caused a wide variety of errors in Crusader Kings 3 surrounding in-game concubines, like assigning them to dead people. When the original update blocking the mods was released Paradox Interactive sought to make it very clear that it was not blocking the mods as a statement about same-sex marriage.

Now, in an upcoming update, Crusader Kings 3 is looking to bring those mods back. Crusader Kings 3, the sprawling medieval strategy title from Paradox Interactive, made headlines last month when an update for the game blocked players from installing mods that enable same-sex marriages.
